The beautiful and intimate Café des Arts Restaurant is situated in the heart of the Franschhoek Village.

Café des Arts Restaurant is a simple, rustic, relaxed restaurant where you can really chill out and be yourself and it’s a place where all that matters is the food on your plate.
 
There are no table cloths, no silver service and the food is from the pan to the plate.
If you’re lucky, you may even get some cutlery.
 
Our chalkboard menu consists of ten or so dishes and always includes a meat, poultry, vegetarian and fish dish.
The Café des Arts menu changes regularly depending on availability, season, freshness of ingredients and the Chef’s mood.
All menu items are made from the freshest, finest and local ingredients.
We are also licenced with a carefully selected range of boutique wines from the Franschhoek Valley.
 
Chef patron Chris Hoffmann and wife, Louise, both have a very relaxed outlook to life and together they create a dining experience you may never forget.
